Director Jeeva Passes Away:

Cameraman cum Director of very different Tamil movies Mr.Jeeva passes away in Russia. He was the director of the latest movie "Unnale Unnale" that was released before Sivaji and was a huge hit. He was in Russia for his next film and was about to return. He had a heart attack and died immediately. He directed 12B which was another big hit and introdued many new faces to Tamil Cinema. His latest Hero Vinay said that he is really missing Jeeva and he was very pleasant to work with. We pray for his family and may his soul rest in peace.

Kireedam To release Next:

Now that Sivaji is released most of the small producers are getting ready to release their movies. Most of them are in really deep trouble as the interest on their borrowed money keeps increasing due to the delay in releasing their movies. The next big budget movie to release is Kireedam which has Ajith playing the lead role and our favorite cute actress - Trisha sharing the lead with him. Nayan in Danush's Next Movie Too:

Not sure if it is to make Simbu mad, Nayantara is going to be in Danush's next film too. Currently she is actiing with Danush in "Yaaradi Nee Mohini" and has been booked for his next movie also. This is really making Simbu mad. As we have seen before Simbu named his movie "Kettavan" against Danush's "Polladavan". Now he is going to introduce a new girl who will take Nayantara's spot.

Dasavadaram Update:

Dasavadaram unit is almost done with the shooting. Now they are also trying to build the hype like Sivaji. But in Sivaji's case we had Rajni and Shankar team. Shankar always makes sure that no information is leaked to the media until the movie is released. But we don't think this will work with Dasavadaram. Good luch trying to create big hype like Sivaji.

Bhoomika - Back to Bollywood:

Since her "Sillunu Oru Kadal" has not brought many roles in Tamil, Boomika has gone back to Bollywood once again. She is in the new Hindi movie produced by Anil Kapoor, titled “Gandhi My Father”. The Director of this movie told media that this movie is about the relationship between Gandhi and his son Harilal. Akshay Khanna is playing Harilal and Boomika as his wife.

Kamna - The Glamour weapon:

Thiruttu payaley Jeevan’s next movie "Machakaran" is hitting the studio floors. The producers approached Bhavana and Vedika initially to cast as heroine. But they refused to do glamorous role as they have seen what happens to the ladies in Jeevan's film. At last the producers selected Kamna as their sexy weapon for the movie.

Nayan makes it big:

Nayantara is too busy these days in both Telugu and Tamil. She has become one of the top most wanted heroines after the painful break up from Simbu. In Tamil she is doing Billa 2007 with Ajith, Yaradi Nee Mohini with Danush and Sathyam with Vishal. In Telugu she is pairing with top star Vengatesh in his new movie. She has also signed and yet another unnamed movie opposite Danush. That makes Simbu more Kettavan.

Shruti - Layam:

Sham’s next venture “Inba” is on the sets now. Sneha is playing the lead lady in this movie. Highlight of the movie is Kamal Hassan’s elder daughter Shruti Hassan is debuting as a singer. We can't wait to hear he voice, as her dad has proven before.

Ilayaraja Clans next venture:

Maestro Ilayaraja’s Elder brother R.D.Baskar’s sons Parthi Baskar(director of Pambara Kannaley movie) and Hari Baskar(debutant hero) are joining hands for the forthcoming movie “Ayiram Nilavey Vaa ” . The music is scored by the director’s brother-in-law Srikkanth Deva. The songs are excellent said the excited director.
